Lizzie died as a pauper at the Westford Poor Farm. Snow's Burial Register states, "27 June 1873. Miss Elizabeth Adams was not buried North side of her father Thomas Adams. The grave was dug and then was filled in and she was deposited in the Town tomb. 28 July 1873. Miss Adams was removed to South Chelmsford burial yard and buried there. To opening and closing tomb $1.00.
