Cloey Evelyn (Plant) Riley passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. She was born on February 3, 1928 on a farm in Estancia Valley. At that time New Mexico was a new state of 16 years. Except for a short time she lived her entire life in New Mexico. Cloey was married to Jay Riley for 47 years.
Cloey worked for the Bell telephone company and the US government in Los Alamos. She owned her own restaurant in Deming, NM.
The remainder of her time she was wife, mother, contractor in business with her husband.
Cloey surrendered her heart and life to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in Sandia Baptist Church August 1961 and remained a member at Sandia until her death.
Her parents, Alvin and Anna Mae Plant; her husband; daughter; and son, preceded her in death.
