Roger J. Woods, 76, died on March 31, 2021 at his Monticello, IN home with his wife at his side.

He was born on November 20, 1944 in Chalmers, IN to the late William John Woods and Marjorie Ellen (Culver) Zarse. On February 1, 1975 in the St. James Lutheran Church in Reynolds, IN, he married Nancy Zarse; she survives.

Roger lived most of his life in White County, IN. He had farmed in the area for most of his life and later loved watching the crops grow. Roger also had worked for the White County Highway Department for 10 years. Roger had several part-time jobs helping other farmers in the area and drove a semi. He enjoyed watching the grand kids doing sports, 4-H projects and family get-togethers.

Roger is survived by his wife; two children; four grandchildren; two siblings; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Andrew Stewart.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April, 3, 2021 at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home. Rev. Leland McReynolds will officiate. Burial will be in Chalmers Cemetery.
