It is impossible to capture so many years of love and special moments in one small space, but Ken will be remembered by his family for his hearty laugh; his many years as a bowler and watching it on television on Saturday afternoons; his love of history, Jeopardy, and the holiday movie A Christmas Story; the soft spot he had for any cat that came across his path; his love and commitment to the family farm; his love for his siblings; his many years of hard work as a factory worker and a farmer; his countless sacrifices to provide an education for his daughters and ending every visit with them by telling them he loved them and to be careful driving home; his playfulness with and the joy he found in his cherished granddaughters; and for his endless devotion to his beloved wife Carlene, who was his favorite person in the world. He remains dearly loved, will be deeply missed, and remembered always.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Carlene; his daughters Melissa Beck (Cedarville, Ohio) and Jennifer Beck (Westerville, Ohio); his treasured granddaughters, Hannah (15) and Nora (4) Beck; his siblings: Raymond (Betty) Beck of Millersburg; Paul (Sarah) Beck of Kensington, MD; Rosemary Beck of Columbus; Scott (Arezo) Beck of Columbus; and his wife's siblings, their spouses, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved father Eugene, who his family trusts he found great joy in being reunited with after 52 years, his mother Mary, and by his infant niece, Ava Mari Beck.
