Barbara A. Gibson, 84 currently of Springfield, Missouri but formerly of Galena, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Magnolia Square Nursing and Rehab.
Barbara was born on February 23, 1937 in Neosho, Missouri the daughter of the late Joe Rivers and Nola (Hargraves) Richardson. She was married to Gary Dee Gibson.
She later worked at St. Johns in Joplin, Missouri in Human Resources until she retired.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Dee Gibson; son, Gary Todd Gibson; sister, Beverly Richardson; three brothers, Benny, Gerald and Jerry Richardson.
Barbara is survived by her sister, Kathy Dixon; daughter, Pam Hinds and husband, Brett; son, Scott Gibson; seven grandchildren, Morganne Hinds, Garrett (Emma) Hinds, Wyatt Hinds, Krista Gibson, Matthew Adams, Austeen (Darotah) Simpson, and Lauren Gibson; and two great-grandchildren, Tallulah and Wacey.
Graveside services, March 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Oak Hill Cemetery in Galena, Kansas.
