Wilhelmina Lindemann was born in 1829 in the vicinity of Bromberg, Germany (near the village of Niemansdorf).
She was the daughter of Martin Lindemann and Johanna Rosina Charlotte Boettcher (both from Prussia). She was one of the 3 children born to this union. The second oldest sister, Augustina Henriette Lindemann. A brother, 3rd in the family, Juluis Lindemann (FAG #97075116), married Marie Leehafer.
Wilhelmina married Edward Charles Pardon in Germany and, at the age of 28, she & her husband and their one-year-old daughter, Huldah Pardon, journeyed to America and settled in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
