WARREN — Carol S. Hewitt, 71, of Warren, died Monday, March 15, 2021, in MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland after a short illness.
She was born May 23, 1949, in Warren, the daughter of Francis and Helen Wright Adams.
Carol was employed by The Salvation Army in Warren for 40-plus years until her retirement.
Mrs. Hewitt is survived by three stepchildren, Mark Hewitt of Santa Rosa, Calif., David Hewitt of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Pamela Bax of Kitchener, Ontario; six grandchildren; a sister, Eileen Polis of Warren; and a brother, Matthew F. Adams Sr. of Warren.
Preceding Carol in death were her husband, Arthur Hewitt, and a brother and a sister.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements for Carol were entrusted to the Borowski Funeral Services and Oak Meadow Cremation Services.
