Norma Jean Leigh, 75, of Albion died Aug. 17, 2000, at her home.
She was born Jan. 24, 1925, in Wayne County, the daughter of Alva and Anna (Ramsey) Balding.
She married Dale E. Leigh on Dec. 18, 1943, in Olney. He survives.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Leigh of Albion; three brothers, Max Balding of Albion; Neil Balding of Newton and Darrell Balding of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Shirley McCluskey of Albion and Linda Hewitt of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Anna Balding; a brother, Donald, and a infant brother; and a sister, Sherly St. Pierre.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Albion.
