She lost her husband of 60 years and the love of her life, Dr. Arthur Moss, in early 2018.
She is survived by her three children, Kathy Lowengrub (Jeff Lowengrub), Debbie Moss (Keith Somers), and David Moss (Abby Rischin); nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Joy Moss was a graduate of Wellesley College and the University of Rochester School of Education. Specializing in children’s literature, she was a prolific author and a beloved teacher of both children and adults at the Harley School and the University of Rochester.
Her Graveside Service was held privately at the Mount Hope Cemetery.
