CAMERON — Funeral services for James Michael Jenkins, age 55, of Buckholts, were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19 in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Walter Matus officiating. Graveside services and burial followed in the St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Cemetery in Marak. Mr. Jenkins died Monday, Oct. 15 in a Temple hospital following an illness.

Mr. Jenkins was born July 24, 1952 in Brazoria County to James C. and Jo Ann Slavik Jenkins and was a telephone technician.

Mr. Jenkins graduated from Cleburne High School in 1970 and was a member of the Catholic church.

Survivors include son, Dustin Jenkins of Grandview; three daughters, Johanna Jenkins of Grandview, Mikayla Jenkins and Natalie Jenkins, both of Covington; father, James C. Jenkins of Bastrop; mother, Jo Ann Slavik Tatum of Buckholts; step-father, Lynwood Tatum of Buckholts; step-mother, Charlotte Jenkins of Bastrop; three brothers, Chris Jenkins of Willis, Tim Jenkins of Grandview and David Jenkins of Osaka, Japan; sister, Laura Eastin of Quinlan; three step-brothers, Dee Tatum, Eddie Tatum and Woody Tatum, all of Ft. Worth; three step-sisters, Vicky Cuppett, Cathy Raymond and Toni Provence, all of Ft. Worth.
