Funeral services for Julie Lauren Curtis, age 59, will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Bailey Funeral Home, Springhill, LA, with Bro. Phillip Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in the Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Saturday at Bailey Funeral Home.
Julie was born on December 19, 1961 to Jerry Wayne and Wanda Christine Smith Early in Springhill, LA and passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 in Shreveport, LA. She was a manager for the Ivan Smith Furniture store in Jonesboro, LA for 16 years. While living in the Jonesboro area, she was constantly promoting Jonesboro and was also active in the Lions Club.
She is survived by her mother, Wanda Christine (Danny Ray) Early of Springhill, LA; sister, Angie Curtis of Homer, LA; brother, Marty (Kim) Curtis of Taylor, AR; nieces, Amber (Trey) Cobb and Kaleigh Curtis; nephews, Dylan (Katie) Curtis of Benton, LA, Colby (Krystal) Eubanks of San Antonio, TX, Logan (Hannah) Curtis of Prescott, AR; great-nieces, Anna Lizz Eubanks, Jessie Lynn Eubanks, Carol Avery Cobb, Lucy Camille Cobb; great-nephews, Thomas Wayne Eubanks, William Cooper Cobb, and Tucker Alan Curtis.
Julie was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Wayne Curtis; maternal grandparents, Johnnie Faye Smith and, Alvin Olin Smith; paternal grandparents, Jack Davis and Irma Ruth Curtis.
