Mary M. Gallagher, 81, of Malvern, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Paoli. She was the beloved wife of the late James K. Gallagher, Sr., with whom she shared 53 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2013.
Mary loved spending quality time with her family and adored her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her dogs. She was a life-long caregiver and had a big heart for everyone she met. Mary was a devout Catholic.
She is survived by her children, Mary Kay (Dave) Lees, Tricia (Phil) DeSantis and James K. (Dora) Gallagher, Jr.; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, James (Betty) and Robert (Mary) Hogan. She was predeceased by two daughters, Geri Gallagher and Eileen Delphais and by a great grandson, Roman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at St. Joseph Church, 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown. Family and friends will be received from 9:45-10:45 AM.
Interment will be held privately with the family in Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 250, Philadelphia, Pa 19106.
