Elmer "Rusty" Smith, 81, of Scottsville, an Allen County native was a farmer and a member of Beech Grove General Baptist Church.
He had retired as a Western Kentucky University custodian.
He was a son of the late Jim Tom Smith and Essie Thomas Smith and the husband of the late Sylvia Meador Smith.
Had two sons, Donald Ray Smith of Dallas and Roger Dale Smith of Louisville
five daughters, Bonnie Welch of Louisville, Linda Sams of Auburn and Shirley Jent, Eva Nell Hester and Janice Keen all of Scottsville;
three sisters, Delmer McElroy and Hattie Tabor both of Bowling Green and Sally Willoughby of Scottsville
