Charles Langford, a widower, a Captain late 8th Hussars, from Ballynadigne, Lismore, son of John Crawford Langford, Captain late 17th Regiment, married Agnes Sutherland Matterson, a Spinster, from Castletroy House, Limerick, daughter of Joseph Matterson, a Merchant, on 28 June 1906, at Kilmurry Parish Church [C. of I.] Limerick.

Charles Langford, aged 37, late Captain, 8th Kings Royal Irish Hussars, Companion Distinguished Service Order, married, born in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary
Agnes Sutherland, his wife, aged 31, married, born in Limerick,
Richard Crawford, son, aged 3, born at Lismore, Co. Waterford [b. 28 May 1907]
3 female domestic servants were also present.

Charles rejoined the army at the start of World War 1.
He was a major when the War finished.

Death.
Charles Langford, aged 96, a widower, Major, retired, died on 6 August 1969, at Rathkeale Abbey, Rathkeale.
The cause of death was Cardiac Muscle Failure, Arteriosclerosis, 6 months, Senility, certified.
His death was registered on 15 August 1969, by Colonel R. C. Langford, Rathkeale Abbey, Co. Limerick, Eire, son, present at death.
