For most of his working career, Dan worked as a cook at various local restaurants and bakeries. As a youth, he played football, baseball, hockey, and enjoyed youth wresting. Other hobbies and special interests included hunting, fishing, and anything that involved the great outdoors. Dan had a big heart and shared it whenever he could.
