He was the son of Howard and Linda Ninmer Jochimsen. Keith was a 1994 graduate of Kiel High School. On Nov. 2, 2002, he married Jennifer Whitney at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel. Keith was employed for approximately seven years at Todd's Total Clean, and currently was employed at Karstaedt Insulation and Creative Closet Concepts in Kiel. He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel, and the Kiel Pool League for many years. Keith enjoyed spending time with his wife and children, camping, hunting and fishing, especially sturgeon spearing.

He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law: David "Smooth" Karstaedt; maternal grandfather: Orville Ninmer; paternal grandparents: Elroy "Chappy" Jochimsen and Rita (Ray) Maxson; and his uncle: Mike Ninmer. Keith died in an automobile accident along with his brother-in-law David Karstaedt.
