ANNETTE'S OBITUARY
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2021 for Annette Derise Meader in the Chapel of Louisiana Funeral Services & Crematory, 108 Hardware Road, Broussard, LA.

The family will receive invited guests on Sunday, March 14, 2021 beginning at 2 PM until the time of memorial services at 3:45 PM The service will be conducted by her brother, Rev. Mark Derise, Pastor of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Scott, LA.

Annette passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. She was a resident of Youngsville, La. Annette was a 1978 graduate of Jeanerette Senior High School.

Annette enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a fun-loving person and always made people laugh. She enjoyed being a grandmother to Micah and James, who were the apples of her eyes. She enjoyed spending time on social media. She loved cooking and eating her cooking, always making Granny’s famous fried pork chops.

She was welcomed to her eternal home by one of the loves of her life, her daughter, Katie Michelle Meader, her parents George and Mary l. Derise, as well as three brothers George, Jr, Kim, and Ted.

She is survived by her soul mate of 35 years, Donnie Pepper; son Beau Ashley Derise, and two step-sons Randy and Timmy Pepper of Youngsville.

She is also survived by her siblings Tommy Hebert (Liz) of Jeanerette, Brenda Frederick of Jacksonville, Florida, Rev. Mark Derise, Scott, La., Terry Derise of Youngsville, and sister-in-law Marilyn Derise of Jeanerette, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Annette was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Noe and Agnes Hebert; paternal grandparents John and Josephine Derise as well as her brothers, brother in law and her nephew.

Annette will be laid to rest in Jeanerette with her daughter, Katie Michelle Meader.

Invited guests are required to wear a mask or facial covering during the visitation, celebration of life services and the entire time present in the funeral home. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
