She was a native of Gwinnett County and a lifetime area
resident. She was a homemaker and worked at the Whitehall Sewing Plant. She was a very devoted and loving grandmother.
Burial will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include five sons, James Payne, Lawton, Mich., Bill Payne, Augusta, Jerry Payne, Athens, Rich Payne, Arnoldsville, and John Payne, Carlton; a daughter, Betty Conoly, Bainbridge; a brother, Albert Wiley, Milledgeville; 33 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
