Ginger Ann Coolman, age 77, entered eternal rest on March 12, 2021, at Willis-Knighton Hospital, Shreveport. She was a resident of Autumn Leaves Nursing Home, Winnfield.

Born December 6, 1944, in Natchitoches Parish, she was preceded in death by her husband, Christie Coolman; parents, Ruby and Owen Bazar, and brother, Wendell Bazar.

She is survived by her six children, Cynthia Jamison (Johnny), Robin Harris, Russell Coolman (Mariann), David Coolman, Michael Coolman (Karen), Tina Coolman (Kenny), and sister, Darlene Bazar Pace. Those also left include twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Coolman enjoyed singing, sewing, and reading. She always enjoyed and wanted to help others. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Chapel Services for Ginger will be held at 12:00 PM, on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Kramer of Colfax. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Summerfield Cemetery, Colfax.

Pallbearers will be Russell Coolman, David Coolman, Michael Coolman, Will Coolman, Johnny Jamison, and Alan Thompson.
