Harold L. Jack, Sr., 82, of Springfield died on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at his home. He was born June 22, 1938, in Springfield, to Earl Jack and Mildred Shelly Jack. He married Lorraine Whitehurst in 1964 and she survives.

Also surviving are two children, Sheree (Thomas) McKane of Springfield and Harold "Buddy" (Stacey) Jack, Jr. of Springfield; two grandchildren, Jonathon (Miranda) and Bryton; one great-grandchild, Joseph; three step-grandchildren, Courtney, Ariel and Dalton; one sister, Cindy Jack of Peoria; and three brothers, Terry (Rose) Jack of Springfield, Dwayne "Allen" Jack of San Diego, CA and Ronnie Jack of Pensacola, FL.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents; six brothers and three sisters.

For many years, Harold was a member of the Springfield Bowling Association. He was a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Harold was a United States Army Veteran. He worked for the State of Illinois as a store keeper.

Graveside Service: 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Mike Harney officiating. Military Honors will be conducted.
