Lloyd Bottoms, age 76, of Ozark, entered into eternity during the evening hours of March 11, 2021. Lloyd was born June 28, 1944 in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was the fourth of five children born to Grover and Addie Bell Bottoms. After high school, Lloyd attended the University of Oklahoma where he received his Doctorate of Pharmacy, Lloyd graduated second in his academic program. Lloyd began his career at a pharmacy in Oklahoma before moving to Nixa, Missouri to finish his career at Dillon's Pharmacy. Lloyd retired at the age of 67.
Earlier in life Lloyd was married and helped raise two step daughters, Robin and Rachel. In 1990 he married his current wife, Bev Bottoms. Lloyd helped raise Bev's two children, Shelly and Zach. To that union, his son Jade was born in 1992.
One of his favorite locations was Table Rock Lake. He spent many weekends at Table Rock where he would boat, fish, and kick back and relax. Lloyd also shared his love of traveling with his family. He took many motorcycle trips across the country in his love of exploration. Lloyd will be greatly missed, but the family is so grateful in knowing he is now with his Lord and Savior.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Addie Bottoms; two brothers, Lester and Garrell Bottoms; and a grandson, Cody Uber.
Lloyd is survived by his wife Bev Bottoms; daughters Robin Cole (Randy), Rachel Sims (Scott), and Shelly Barnett (James); sons Zach Whorton (Jenny) and Jade Bottoms; sisters Naomi Rafferty and Judy Fairbanks; seven grandchildren: Dawson and Brayden Barnett, Kalli Whorton, Kaylee Uber, Branden, Tyler and Zach Sims; two great grandchildren, Bexley and Remington.
