William K. Finn, age 64 passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, March 10, 2021 at his home in Brown County.

William was born November 3, 1956, in Columbus, to his parents, the late William 'Dallas' and Frona (Davis) Finn. He was a graduate of Sarasota High School. William had a strong love for reading and education and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree from O.J.C.B. in Owensboro, KY and later a degree in Trichology from Florida State College.

William served as a Private with the United States Marine Corp. He formerly worked at NTN Driveshaft in Columbus. Prior to that, he worked as a Portrait Salesman’s for American Studios in Indiana and Kentucky Walmarts. William was a past member of the American Legion Post 81 in Leitchfield, KY.

He enjoyed the outdoors by fishing, working in his yard and tending to his flower & vegetable gardens. William was a fan of the National Football League with his favorite team being the New England Patriots.

He will be missed by his companion of 26 years, Joyce A. (Wentworth) Thompson of Brown County; children; William (Brandi) Price of Bowling Green, KY, Dewayne Finn of Leitchfield, KY, Lori Lloyd of Nashville, Brian Finn of Rush Springs, KY and Elizabeth (Rick) Johnson of Indianapolis; stepson, Michael Thompson of Beech Grove; grandchildren: Lekisha, Christopher, Brylee, Hannah, Gage, Noah, Harvey, Harley and Morgan, step grandchildren, Shannon, Hunter, Heather, Andrew, Jacob and Quentin.

William was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Frona Murrell; stepchildren, Michelle Young and Timothy Thompson; and siblings: Larry Finn, Kathryn Poole, Patricia Meredith.

A funeral visitation will be held from 1 to 5 on Sunday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. (central standard time) at Duff Community Cemetery in Leitchfield, KY.
