Amund Amundsen, 90, died Saturday, August 26, 2006, at the Nichol's Center in Madison. Graveside services were held August 29 at Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery in Madison. Natchez Trace Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Mr. Amundsen, a retired tool and die maker, was born in Punxsutawney, Penn. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Amundson, late of San Diego, Calif.
Survivors include his long time companion, Margaret Holderfield, and her daughter, Laura Greenlee; his son, Roald Amundson of Cleveland, Ohio; his daughters, Barbara Amundsen of Phoenix, Ariz., Tyco Amundson of N.M., Karen Kearney of San Francisco, Susan Ates of Pearl, and Jai Amundsen of Phoenix; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
