Services were held November 30, 1969, at 2:30 p.m. at the Eskridge Baptist Church for Earnest Carroll Salley, age 50, with the Rev. W. M. Hull and Rev. D. C. Hartley officiating. Burial was in the Duck Hill Cemetery with National Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Salley died November 29 at the Baptist Hospital, Memphis, following a brief illness.

He was a member of the Eskridge Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon and the Church Clerk. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lorene Laster Salley; two daughters, Mrs. Larry Hayward and Miss Gloria Salley all of Duck Hill: two brothers, Melvin Salley, Eupora, Miss., Ibry Salley, Elmhurst, Ill.; four sisters, Mrs. Milton Riley, Duck Hill, Mrs. Annie Patridge, Goodman, Miss.; Mrs. Leo Shaw, Eupora, Miss., and Mrs. Leo Stafford, West Memphis, Arkansas

Pallbearers were J. W. Kirk, Sonny Nail, Edgar Tribble, Lewis Puttman, Gary Kirk, and Howard Hayward.
