Jerome as he was called, was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth. He was born in MD but moved to KY after the Catholics started being persecuted. He met and married Cecilia Livers in Kentucky. THey married and had 11 children. He then moved the family to Randolph County, IL where they settled down. He remained a devout Catholic and was buried in the cemetery of the church he attended. His marker no longer exists but it is assumed he was buried next to his wife Cecila.
