Early Life: Jeanette was born December 4, 1940, in Provo, Utah, to Joseph Burr Millet and Anna Agnes Duffin Millet. Jeanette graduated from Orem High School and seminary.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: On November 4, 1966, she married her eternal companion, Lynn Eugene Powell, from Levan, Utah, in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. Jeanette pursued a business course at Stevens-Henager College, Utah Technical College and Brigham Young University. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in Relief Society, Primary and various other positions throughout her life. She also served as an active member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and loved working on genealogy and documenting family history. Jeanette and Lynn have been residents of Nephi, Utah, for 40+ years. She was employed by Jolene's, Zions and Beehive Clothing Mills. Jeanette Marie Millet Powell, of Lindon, Utah, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 6, 2021, at Spring Gardens Assisted Living Center. She was 80 years old.

Survived By: Her eternal companion, Lynn Powell, of Lindon, Utah; her three children: Richard Powell (Shawna), of Lindon, Utah; Julia Bagshaw (Dave), of Provo, Utah; Kirsten South (Greg), of Olympia, Washington; 11 grandkids; 16 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Joseph Brian Millet.
Preceded In Death By: Her parents, three sisters, and an infant brother.
