---Richard Orlando Collier, age 52, of Atlanta, MO, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon, MO.
---Richard was born on August 21, 1968 in Mexico, MO, the son of James Sr. and Maude (Hammers) Collier. He was united in marriage to Shallon Sebrina Mills on November 12, 1995 in Vandalia, MO. Richard graduated from Van Far High School. He was known as a “Jack of All Trades,” as he held many different jobs throughout his life. Richard enjoyed fixing bicycles for the children of the local community, caring for his fish aquariums, puzzles, and watching Days of Our Lives. He also enjoyed attending his children’s activities and sporting events. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
---He is survived by his three children, Shalyla Collier and Korbin Gunnels of Elmer, MO, Tristan Collier and Brooke Whittom of Linn, MO, and Javeen Collier of Atlanta; four sisters, Diana Savage and Ronnie of St. Charles, MO, Cindy Collier of Columbia, MO, Zenia Collier Lawless of Atlanta, GA, and Sharon Chatman of Vandalia; three brothers, Jerome Collier of Vandalia, Jimmy Collier of Vandalia, and Rickey Collier and Shawnda of Navarre, FL; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nancy and Frank Mills; and in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
---Richard was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shallon on November 23, 2020; two sisters, Teresa and Crystal Collier; and one brother-in-law, Donnie Chatman.
---A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home (301 N. Rubey St., Macon, MO 63552) to help cover family expenses.
