Curtis Ray Sanders Fagg, 69, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Hospice Home at High Point in High Point.

Ray was born on June 11, 1951, in Randolph County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julia McNeill Sanders Jarrell and James Edgar Sanders; sisters, Linda Kay Sanders, Patricia Oxendine; and brother, Harold Updike.

Ray is survived by his sister, Wanda Stanley and husband Wilbur of High Point; brothers, Jerry McNeill and wife Marynell of Aiken, SC, Bobby Sanders and wife Frankie of Lenoir, Richard Jarrell and wife Lori of Winston-Salem; brother-in-law, Willie Oxendine of Thomasville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and best friends, Kevin Lockhart, and Linda Carter.

Ray will lie in state from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Ridge Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Danny McMahan officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. The service will be live-streamed at Ridge Funeral Home's official Facebook page. Memorials may be made to Hospice Home at High Point, 1803 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC, 27262.
