Mrs. Margaret (Fawcett) Thompson, 85, widow of Ross Thompson, died of complication after an illness of several weeks, Thursday, July 13, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Davis at Perrysville. A life resident of Lee Twp., Mrs. Thompson was the youngest and last survivor of 13 children of Alexander and Elizabeth Fawcett. She was a member of the Harlem Springs Methodist Church. Her husband, whom she married October 18, 1877, died 13 years ago.
Surviving besides Mrs. Davis, are a son, John M. of Harlem Springs, three grandchildren, Mrs. Ila Stewart of Harlem Springs, Ralph at home, and Mrs. Hazel Brackin of Dellroy; and a great-granddaughter, Norma Jean Stewart. Services were conducted Saturday in the home of John Thompson by Rev. R. J. Smith of Damascus, and burial was in Harlem Springs cemetery with Graham parlors in charge.
