Survivors include his widow, Eliza Menard; three sons, Leo and Paul, both of Cankton and Hypolite of Port Allen; five daughters, Mrs. Joe, Guidroz of Lafayette, Mrs. Leon Babineaux of Carencro and Mrs. Clement Babineaux, both of Carencro, Mrs. Jack Royer of Cankton and Mrs. Anatole Cormier of Port Allen; five brothers, Justelien and
Pierre, both of Cankton, Maurice of Carencro, and Aristile and Edgar, both of Lafayette; one sister, Mrs. Felix Dubon of Lafayette; 23 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Paul, Leo, Alexandre and Howard Legere, Howard Legere, Howard Babineaux and Rodney Royer.
The E. H. Melancon & Son Funeral Home of Carencro had charge of arrangements.
