The Lady was found on the 5th of March 1777 after the snow had dewed away. The investigators assumed her to be laying there several months due to the condition of her body and that she might have died from the cold. She lay near by a resting area in the woods near Burgwald, Hessen, Germany, wearing only a brown camisole and a head band with a veal attached, as well as men shoes on her feet. They only found about 4 Dollars and a piece of bread on her, no paperwork or anything else. Therefore they could never determine who she was. She was buried March 6th, 1777 in Oberrosphe, Marburg-Biedenkopf, Hessen, Germany on the church yard.
Because she was unknown, she can't be thoroughly named on here, but to someone she meant something and therefore I created a memorial for the poor woman, who froze to death alone in the woods.
