Cincinnati - John F. "Jack" Crowley passed away peacefully on February 24, 2021, surrounded in love by his wife and seven children. Beloved husband to Jackie for 58 years, loving father to Mike (Tonya), Mark (Eileen), Scott (Jen), Katie (Alex Hauck), David (Kristina), Steve (Lucy), and Ryan (Lindsay). Cherished grandfather to 19 grandchildren (Blake, Ethan, Kevin, Brendan, Ryan, Lyndsay, Lainey, Jack, Pete, Will, Henry, Emma, Caroline, Thomas, Alex, Abby, Lyle, Claire, and Rosie). Jack is preceded in death by his mother and father (Mary and Joseph) and his three brothers (Joe, Dan, and Pat). Born December 14, 1938 in Cincinnati, OH where he attended St. Francis De Sales and Purcell High School. Jack was a United States Marine, University of Cincinnati Graduate, Partner/Director of Audit Practice at Ernst & Young for 33 years and consultant for Surgical Appliance Industries for 20 years. Jack was a mentor to many in business and in life. He generously served his community as part of several charitable boards, including Boys Hope, Cincinnati Historical Society, Cincinnati Museum Center and was a baseball and basketball coach for Friars Club for many years in his youth. He was also a past president of Kenwood Country Club. Jack's real passion in life was spending time with his wife, family, friends and two dogs Duffy and Bad Baby. He made everyone feel welcome, always had time for a beer or a round of golf, and had a smile that could light up a room. In retirement, Jack spent his time traveling the world with his wife and best friend Jackie as well as enjoying time with his kids and grandchildren. Visitation will be held 8:30-9:30 AM on Tuesday March 2, 2021 at Gilligan Funeral Home at 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 10:00 AM Tuesday March 2, 2021. Burial will take place following mass at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. All are welcome, please maintain social distancing. Memorials are suggested in the form of donations to the Friars Club at friarsclubinc.org or 4300 Vine Street, Cincinnati OH 45217.
