Danny Carroll Loyd, 71, passed away January 26, 2021 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Danny was born March 30, 1949 in Brookhaven, Mississippi, the youngest child to the late L.B. and Evelyn Loyd. Danny grew up in Hazelhurst, MS, later moving to Jackson, MS. After serving four years in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, he was honorably discharged and began attending college at Auburn University, where he met his wife, Victoria (Vicki). They would go on to have three children, Kerry, Eric and Brenna. Danny would move the family to Birmingham to continue a rewarding career as a technical manager, working until his retirement. Danny enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and Auburn football. Danny was extremely giving of his time and abilities. He was the resident Mr. Fixit for his family, friends, neighbors and those in need. He was a member of the local Sertoma chapter.

Danny is preceded in death by his wife Victoria, and his mother and father, Evelyn and L.B. Loyd.
