A 1956 graduate of Adams-Friendship High School, Pastor Soley was a graduate of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and Luther Seminary, St. Paul Minnesota.

Son of the late Guy & Clara (Pollex) Soley, he was also preceded in death by his sisters Carol and Norma.

He is survived by his wife Elaine, his son Kevin, his daughter Gail, and his granddaughter.
