Billy Skipper, our precious father and best friend was born April 22, 1933, and went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007, in Baton Rouge at the age of 74. He was a businessman, founder of Skipper's Plumbing and also a retired Local 406 operator.
Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, until funeral services in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Robert Martin. Burial will follow in Lighthouse Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Denham Springs.
He is survived by his faithful companion of nine years, Dot Louviere; son, Russell B. Skipper; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Russell B. Williams; three grandchildren, Billy Waller, Erin Skipper, Gabriel Kleinpeter; a great-grandson, Dominick Waller; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Doris Stewart Skipper; and parents, Mallie and Luvonia Skipper. Our hearts will forever be with him. He'll be missed greatly but we'll see him again in heaven.
