Mavis Franseen, a long-time resident of the Seattle area, entered into rest on the 10th of July, 2018 at the Sunshine Care Center in Spokane Valley.
She was born in Cheney, WA and moved to the Spokane Valley with her parents, Herbert and Gladys Brookfield, where she graduated from West Valley High School.
Mavis married Kenneth Franseen in 1952. They lived in California for a short time before moving to Seattle. There, she enjoyed careers at Boeing and in the banking field for many years. They enjoyed traveling and making wonderful memories with family & friends from Lake Burien Presbyterian Church.Gardening was a passion that her and Kenny loved.
She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth and their beloved daughter Deborah. Survived by brother Milton Brookfield of Bainbridge Island, sister Maxine of Spokane Valley and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside gathering at the Fairmount Memorial Park in Spokane WA on Friday July 27th at 2:30 PM.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer's Association.
