Maxine Eloise FRANSEEN (1927 - 2018)

Maxine (age 90) was born to Herbert and Gladys Brookfield on December 17, 1927 in Tekoa, WA and joined her beloved husband Harvey on August 26, 2018. After raising their family and retiring, they were blessed with the chance to travel to many places in the world. They are now together on that final cruise. Maxine was the shining example of strength, humility, compassion and loved the simple things in life (gardening, sewing, family camp-outs and most recently a happy competitor in virtual bowling at Orchard Crest Retirement Home). Maxine would beam with pride when showing pictures of her legacy of 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Mom (Grammy), we will miss you!

She is survived by her three children, Raymond (Mercedes) Herndon, Danny Franseen, and Joyce (Jim) Samis. Also survived by her brother, Milton (Donna) Brookfield.

Preceded in death by her sisters, LolaMae Wong, Evelyn Klemmer, and Mavis Franseen.

Funeral service will be at the Deer Park Baptist Church-1205 E. Crawford St., Deer Park, WA - on September 11, 2018 at 11:00AM followed by graveside gathering at Fairmount Memorial Park -5200 W. Wellesley - north Spokane.
