Passed away Friday at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Son of Dory and Bertha Myers Bell.
Married Magnollie Sturman March 1, 1954, his 20th birthday. She preceded him in death September 21, 2009.
Survivors include grandchildren Staci (Rob) Smith, Dennis Barker Jr. (Trisha) and Kara Kellerman; step son Dennis (SueAnn) Barker; nine great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; foster children Douglas (Jeff Barnett) and Rex (Dana Ann) Meagher, and Starlah (Daniel) Smith; several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

He worked as a tool and dye machinist, retiring from California Pellet Mill in 1970.

Member of the Browns Valley Missionary Baptist Church.

He enjoyed spending time in the woods, hunting ginseng, and mushrooms, woodworking and spending time with his family.

Funeral service 10am Wednesday, February 24,at Machledt and Servies Funeral Home, Waveland with Pastor Rodney Coffman officiating.
Burial in Old Union Cemetery.
Visitation 3-7pm Tuesday.
We ask that all in attendance wear masks and practice social distancing
