Mrs. Mary Jarrell of Dry Creek Taken

DRY CREEK, Sept. 13 - Mrs. Mary Ellen Jarrell, 84, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L.C. Skaggs, at Dry Creek at 1 a.m. today, following an illness of six months.

She was born at Dry Creek March 18, 1984, and was a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Sylvester H Pettry, of Glen Daniel, and Galden [sic] M. Pettry, also Glen Daniel; two daughters, Mrs. Olive Bradley, of Charleston, and Mrs. L.C. Skaggs of Dry Creek.

Funeral services will be held at the Rebecca Chapel, Rock Creek, Raleigh County, Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Charles Stephenson, Ansted, officiating. Burial will follow in the Dry Creek Cemetery.
