Virginia Ann Gallimore Howard passed away peacefully on February 16, 2021, at the age of 90.
Born on April 20, 1930, to Raymond and Merle Gallimore, Ann, or “Gran” as she was called, is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Michael) Good of Roanoke, Virginia, grandsons William Howard, III (Roanoke) and Dr. David (Karina) Good (Wisconsin), and great-grandchildren Polina, Ann-Sophie, and Veronika Good.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard, her son William Howard Jr., and her four siblings (Marie Gallimore Chandler, Leonard Gallimore, Ruth Gallimore Turman, and Zane Gallimore).
A memorial service will be held at Colonial Presbyterian on Saturday, Feb 20, at 11 am with COVID restrictions enforced, or you may choose to attend virtually at the Colonial Presbyterian Roanoke Facebook Live page. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Colonial Presbyterian Church in Roanoke, the church community of which she and her husband were lifelong members and which was an integral part of their lives.
