MISS VERDELLE WELCH BRIDE OF PFC. GENE BURCH
Miss Verdelle Welch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Welch, and Pfc. Gene Burch, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Burch, both of Macon, were married at 8:30 p. m. March 1 at the home of the Rev. H. H. Snider, minister of the Methodist Church at Kirksville. The single ring ceremony was used.
The bride wore a tan and brown dress with brown accessories. Guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Burch and Mr. and Mrs. George Burch.
Both young people attended Macon High School.
Pfc. Burch left this morning for Camp Barkeley, Texas, where he is stationed. Mrs. Burch plans to join, him later.
