Jacob was one of the founder of Grave Hill Christian Church which in 2010 had 175th Anniversary.
Family Reunion in May 2019, at Grave Hill Christian Church.........
Twila Lugar Graves, Descendants of Adam Lugar....Jacob and Phoebe lived near the Gravel Hill Church in Sinking Creek Valley. They were great workers in this church. They were buried on their home place and in later years a stone was erected in the Ross Cemetery in their memory. Their bodies were never moved, many other McPherson are buried in this cemetery.
