She was a member of the Castleton Federated Church, a graduate of the Castleton Normal School, and taught school in Poultney for many years.
Survived by a son, Robert H. McClure of Castleton; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Thomas of West Springfield, MA; three grandsons, nieces and nephews,
Funeral services: Thursday, May 2, 1974, Mallory Funeral Home in Fair Haven, VT, conducted by Rev. Olof Johnson, former pastor of the Castleton Federated Church, now of Central Bridge, NY.
Burial: East Poultney Cemetery
