Daves, 51, died Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the Grenada Lake Medical Center due to heart failure. She was born in Greenwood, Ms. on July 30, 1956 to Archie and Ellie (Hollingsworth) Germany. She lived in the Greenwood area all of life. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Greenwood and worked at Tote-A-Bag and Multicraft. Funeral Services will be Saturday 9/15/2007 at 2:00 PM at Williams & Lord Funeral Home with the Rev. Lanny Haley officiating. Burial will be at the Moores Memorial Cemetery in Teoc.
She is survived by her husband, Oren Daves of Carrollton; her sons, Dell Daves of Holcomb, Jeffrey Daves and Justin Daves, both of Carrollton; her daughter, Candace Daves of Carrollton; her mother, Ellie Germany of Carrollton; her brother, Johnny Germany of Carrollton and three grandchildren.
Visitation was Friday, September 14, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood.
Pallbearers will be John Germany Jr, Joseph Germany, Allen Story, Roy Harper, Steven Baker, Calvin Daves, Patrick Germany and Brad Haynes. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Smith, Gene Clardy and Ronald Cox.
Memorials may be made to Grace Health and Rehabilitation Center, 1966 Hill Drive, Grenada, MS 38901.
