Services Wednesday for L. C. Lamb of Farmersville

Final rites were conducted Wednesday afternoon at Hadley Chapel for Lemuel Conway Lamb, who died at the home of a sister-in-law at Farmersville, Saturday.
Mr. Lamb was a native of Arkansas and had lived in California the past four and a half years and in
Farmersville five months. He was employed in a defense plant in the bay area before coming to Farmersville.

Survivors include the sister-in-law at Farmersville, Mrs. Annie Lamb; a sister, Mrs. Maud Shepard in Arkansas;
three brothers, M. T. Lamb, A. G. Lamb and H. A. Lamb, all of Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
Rev. Edwin M. Conn, pastor of the Methodist church of which Mr. Lamb was a member, officiated and Calva Stuart furnished the music. Burial was in Exeter Cemetery and pall bearers were Lonnie Lockhart, Joe Hodges, Mont Johnson, Dalase Palmer, S. L. Phillips and Will Emory.
