Porky graduated in from Marinette Catholic Central in 1982, then enlisted in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge.
He worked for years at Waupaca foundry, then Saputo Cheese until his death.
He loved working on the farm, tinkering with machinery and playing with his grandkids, which he cherished as much.
His favorite time of the year was hunting season, couldn't get enough of the venison, and enjoyed fixing anything with duct tape and chicken wire - always said "That'll work just fine".
He is survived by his daughters: Ashley (Jesse) Hayes, Alecia Hayes, Tillie Hayes and Donna Hayes;
grandchildren: Charolette, JoJo, Marcus, and Ty;
siblings: Debbie Powers, Mike (Corina) Powers, Terry (Peggy) Powers, Patti (Dean) Spencley; Rick Powers, Cindy Powers, and Chip (Dawn) Hayes;
also survived by good family friends: Derral (Dawn) LaPlant and Debbie Rogers; many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grand-parents: Frank and Tillie Sotka; and a brother Timothy McCauley.
Family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, Feb. 13th at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Peshtigo from 10:00 am until time of Christian service at 1:00 pm.
