Brenda Joyce Sims Elliott, 79, of Fair Play, wife of the late R.C. Elliott, Jr., passed away Saturday, February 6th, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Dorothy White Sims.
She is survived by a son, Charles Elliott of Fair Play; daughter, Sabrina Honea (Jody) of Fair Play; sister, Cheryl Justice of Townville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, and husband, R.C. Elliott Jr., she is preceded in death by a sister, Faye Elrod, and a brother, Ronnie Sims.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 at Oakdale Baptist Church with burial to follow at Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery. No formal visitation will be held at the request of the family. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and concerns for the health of family and friends, Brenda’s family asks that all who attend the funeral service please wear face masks and practice social distancing. The family is at the residence. Flowers are accepted or memorials in Brenda’s memory can be made to MSA Hospice, 1659 Sandifer Blvd., Seneca, SC 29678. Sandifer Funeral Home is assisting the family.
