Shirley Jean Allen, age 59, of Curry Lake Rd., Gray Court, SC, died October 9, 2007, at her home.
A daughter of the late Helen Cunningham and Ralph Jackson, she was a member of the Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church, a retired employee of the Greenville School District and a member of the Newberry Women's Aid Society #84.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Earl Allen of the home; one daughter, Cathy Cunningham of the home; one sister, Daisy Ruth Sullivan of Gray Court, SC; two step-sisters, Mamie Bell Turner of Columbia, SC, and Elizzie Smith of Laurens, SC; three step-brothers, James Arthur Turner of Simpsonville, SC, Arthur Lee Turner of Gray Court, SC, and Marvin Turner of Laurens, SC; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
