MRS. ANITA HUBBARD
Funeral services for Mrs. Anita Hubbard, 79, of 4315 Oak Lawn, will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Hammer Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. William Peeples, pastor of St. Luke Methodist Church officiating. Order of the Eastern Star rites will be conducted by Ruth Chapter.
Burial will be in Highland Memory Garden Cemetery.
Mrs. Hubbard died at 6:30 p.m. Monday in a hospital after a two-week illness.
A native of Ford, Kans., she and her late husband, James W. Hubbard moved to Lake Charles eight years ago to live with her daughter, Mrs. Hal Heaton.
She had been a member of Delia OES Chapter 172 in Kingman, Kans., for more than 50 years.
In addition to her daughter, one grandson survives.
