LAKE CITY — Justin Blankenship, 20, of Lake City, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, at Stewart Memorial Hospital in Lake City.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Lake City, with the Rev. Erland Asmus officiating. Burial will be in the Cottonwood Cemetery in Lake City. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City.
Justin Blankenship is survived by his father, Patrick (Shelley) Blankenship of Lohrville; mother, Kristy Blankenship of Sac City; Cindy and Terry Sharkey of Lake City; sisters, Cassie of Lake City, Robin, Dezarae; and brother, Devan all of Lohrville; grandparents, Pat Blankenship of Colorado, Dennis and Shirley Schirk of Carroll; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sharon Blankenship; great-grandparents, Lawrence and Helen DeSart, Ruby and Renold Groth and Lenard and Martha Schirk.
